Laura Buchanan

Laura is admitted to both the Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. Laura comes to us with a broad range of skills, including a background in residential and commercial real estate. She has excellent dispute resolution skills and aims to resolve matters according to the clients’ priorities and budget. She has a friendly approach with clients and enjoys building relationships and rapport whilst helping them reach their goal as promptly as possible.

Laura has worked in non-profit housing, and she is passionate about helping and protecting the vulnerable. She also volunteers as a member of a Management Committee for a charity. This experience has enabled her to show empathy towards her clients’ situation whilst acting in their best interests at all times.

Outside of work she enjoys travelling and previously lived in Toronto, Canada for three years in 2015 where she worked in cooperative housing and later a property law firm. After spending three -40 winters there, it was time to come home. In 2019 Laura spent 10 days exploring the Australian outback. More recently, in her spare time, you will find her spending time with her dogs and helping her plants flourish. She also loves to get creative cooking on a Saturday night with a perfectly paired wine.
